Okay, so here's the thing. I'm not a very competative student, but I really want to go to Pitzer for some reason. Anyways, some background first. I heard Pitzer is really focused on Teacher Recs, and I'm afraid my rec's will be weak. So on a scale of 1-10, I'm guessing my teacher/counselor rec would be somewhere along a 5-6. As for my personal statement, I will be writing about community service, which I heard they are into, so on a scale of 1-10, around an 8-9.
Anyways onto test scores and grades.

idk, basically, I'm a super bland person with nothing special, but I've gone through some stuff in the past half a year, and suddenly, I'm motivated to go to a school like Pitzer, so in your honest opinion, what are my chances?

Also, my parents don't want me to go to pitzer, but rather a UC due to price differences. They want me to major in Comp Sci/Some engineering field at a UC, but I just want to go to Pitzer. They say if I want to go, I should do normal admission, but I really want to go to a claremont college, and Pitzer is the most realistic for my situation. Also, in terms of financial aid and merit based aid, how good is Pitzer? My parents refuse to pay for my college though I am from a very well off area, and so I need that kind of info too. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, if there is anything I am missing, just ask, if it helps you make your evaluation.
