My son is freaking out for his dual enrollment course

What do your parents expect you to do?
Can you ask aunt/uncle/grandparents to help?

Not really, because all of the internships I do are unpaid. I also don’t think I can get any financial aid from the college because it’s DE, and DE students are supposed to bear all the costs.

Any other suggestions on how I could get around this?

Official transcripts are stamped and sealed. I have hand-delivered official transcripts from one school to another in the past. So they do not necessarily have to be sent directly from college to college. But it’s best to ask what the incoming college wants for transcripts.

Well, as luck would have it, I just got an email from our professor saying that this semester’s students had the worst grades in his whole teaching career…

what a disappointment.

Sad thing is that I was so sure I would get an A or at least a B+ because I got A-s and As for all five papers we wrote. And then I literally failed the final exam, despite knowing way more than just 60% of the answers. Do professors let us see our actual graded test? He emailed me like 10 days ago, but I just saw this now (sorry if this was off topic).

Also, do you think I should just call the colleges I am applying to and ask if they will accept unofficial transcripts?

You can call and ask.

Unofficial transcripts are usually grade reports you receive from the schools. I don’t think emails from professors are considered transcripts.

Oh, yeah I know they aren’t considered transcripts. I was just asking if I am allowed to see my graded exam–or do colleges usually just go on break right after finals and then there are no chances to see what mistakes you made on a test?

Some professors make them available but the students have to pick them up. Some professors tell you to give them a SASM if you want your test or paper back. Some will allow you to see it in their office but keep them.

Check to see if there’s a policy at your school. If not, it’s probably up to the professor.

Some professors return the exam papers. Some let students see but keep them. Some don’t let students see unless there is a complaint.

You can email and ask the profs.
