I've been living in CT since 2005, never went to college and I am now 25. I hope it's not too late for me!!! Anyway, I really regret not going to college after finishing high school and the only school I applied to was UCONN. What are my chances of getting into UCONN and should I apply to any other Universities in the tri-state area? I'm asian btw so I'm not sure if UCONN is an affirmative action school or if that even counts for anything, but at this point every little bit matters! Thanks =p

*EDIT
FYI, I want to major in finance and attend at the stamford, ct campus

I'm currently a high school junior in CT and I know based on the influx of information regarding colleges that we've been getting that there is a system in place... well heres the direct quote from UCONN

The Guaranteed Admission Program is an agreement between the Connecticut Community College System and the University of Connecticut designed for students who enroll in a Liberal Arts transfer program at one of Connecticut's community colleges. Students who plan to continue their studies to earn a bachelor's degree in either Liberal Arts and Sciences or Agriculture and Natural Resources are guaranteed admission to the University of Connecticut once the associate degree has been earned and an overall average of 3.0 achieved. Advisors from individual community colleges and UConn meet with Guaranteed Admission Program students throughout their community college careers, helping their eventual transition to the University.

Undergraduate Transfer Admissions | UConn

awesome, thats good to know EliCash91, at least if they don't accept me as a freshman I can always transfer there. Do you know if that applies to finance majors? seems like it's only for people who major in liberal arts, and I'm not sure if sciences includes finance. this whole process is so stressful LoL
