I'm applying to FLorida State University but I only realized I wanted to a little late. Their deadline for everything is Oct. 15 and I'm positive my high school transcripts won't make the deadline. Is there anything I can do so my application will still meet priority deadline?

Talk to the gc.

Email the admissions dept that your file is complete minus the transcript, which you have no control over.

Ask if they have a direct email that the gc can send to regarding your transcript.

Go to the GC and ask for a sealed transcript then send it overnight to FSU.

Most admission depts will give a few days past the deadline knowing that transcripts may show up late since this is the big push season.

Do everything in your power to get the school to make it. Most GC’s will have the transcript ready within 24-48 hrs. Just make sure it is sealed and signed.

Also, personally contact the school. Not your folks, but you. You’d be surprised how accomodating some schools can be. They may tell you on the phone that they marked it on your file. Take their name and call back in a week or so, ask for that person and see if the school sent it. Keep the communication lines open.
