Huge problem over transcript!

My school takes FOREVER to send schools our electronic transcripts to schools in state (FL). I have just picked up a mailed in transcript. Am I able to rush this to FSU in the mail? Will they accept it without it being online and it being rushed?
Thanks!

Yes they will accept a priority mail or FEDEX'ed transcript and yes if it is official it does not need to be electronic. To be honest, if it is not an official notorized and unopened/sealed copy, my guess is that you should SEND IT asap with a letter explaining that, through no fault of your ownm your school will not meet the deadline for OCTOBER 15th, and you wanted them to have some record provided personally by you by the deadline. Maybe tell them you know its not an official transcript, but that it is a good faith effort to get something in their hands, and to allow your application time to receive the school submission. You have nothing to loose. And given that there are only 2 application periods, I suspect they might give your application time to receive the schools submissionm similar to allowing scores from SAT and ACT to arrive after the 10/15 deadline.

I agree...express them the original with a letter of explanation.

I think I read a thread form last year that FSU will determine the cut-off date by the postmark on those items that are sent via regular mail. I'm pretty sure it was the college that I remember reading about.

thank you so much! I just sent it express!
