My winter break sleeping schedule (strong bad habits) (serious)

It's been shifting gradually -- I've been going to sleep and waking up later and later -- until it reached its apex yesterday, when I slept from 12:30 PM to 6:30 PM.

True story.

Anyone have other fascinating true stories?

I've been getting to sleep around 5, and waking up between 12:30 and 3:30, with it tending towards 3:30. Its nothing as extreme as you, but certainly unprecedented for me.

(But seriously, its odd how breaks exacerbate bad sleeping habits, rather than fix them.)

I woke up at 3:30pm on the 28th and woke up at 7pm yesterday lol

Some of my friends usually sleep from 1:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m...

while school is in session...

I sleep from 3 AM to 6:30 AM when school is in session. :(

yesterday i slept from 6AM to 2PM.

n during school i sleep from 1AM to 6:30AM usually.

I think I'm going through the same thing as you. Last night I went to sleep at 11 PM or so and woke up this morning at 7 AM -- I can't remember the last time I went to sleep and woke up at such late hours! I srsly need to control myself...

I blame the sun -- but I guess it's not really ol' sol's fault but rather the earth's with its bloody axial tilt. Anyways, I'm used to waking up an hour or so before dawn, and now an hour or so before dawn is reaaaaaly late in the day this season, so I'm rather disappointed.

^ LOL wow, that's insane.

Going to sleep now, guise. :D

I'm totally the same way. I only need 4 hours of sleep and I'm good to go. I work the best around 1-3 AM.

Nighty-night ;]

During school I usually sleep from 1am-6am.

This break has been weird, I've been sleeping from 3 or 4am - 8-9am, but then last night I feel asleep at 11pm and didn't wake up until noon.

I just finished breakfast.

The awesome part of that is, you can just keep going later and later and eventually you'll be able to fall asleep at 8-9:00 PM and wake up super early and actually be productive throughout the day! All your friends will be jealous.

That was actually my plan for if I went to Deep Springs College; you have to wake up super early, so I was going to spend the summer going to sleep later and later until I was going to bed early. I didn't finish the application on time though.

That's...not a real serious problem, especially since who the hell sleeps 6 hours during winter break.

I'm at sleep at 10~11pmish, wake up around 1~2pm.

14~16 hours of sleep daily FTMFW.

Hm. I'm not too bad. Midnight-11:30am. I hate sleeping even that late though. I feel like I've wasted a day.

On school nights its rare for me to get 6 hours of sleep.

During break on the other hand... ive been going to sleep at 3am+ and waking up at 2pm+

wow i'm glad i'm not the only one whose schedule is messed up. i've been going to bed around 5 am and getting up around 3 pm. well i was until mom decided that i had to get out of bed and stop sleeping in. now if i'm not up around 1 pm she dumps ice cubes on me.

Does anyone else feel like they've lost something dear and precious when they wake up later than 6 AM?

Lol, goldenratiophi, wouldn't it have been easier to work the other way around? Or were your bedtimes closer going forward?

i'm sleeping more than i need to right now. it's crazy. also i gained two pounds since i'm extremely inactive...i really need to go back to school

during the school year i go to sleep around
2:30 AM and wake up at 5 AM

during break, however, i have been going to sleep around 3 AM and waking up at 3-4 PM

There was an incident last year, however, when i slept 23 hours straight. It was the last day of school and I had not slept in days (studying for exams)
