<p>You all should go to sleep. Remember kids take these updates with a grain of salt, I mean you all know what your GPA and pre-req situation is like and should have a reasonable guess whether you will be admitted or not. </p>

<p>I mean getting the updates is 100% not a bad thing, but it’s also not a guarantee of anything so if you’re a borderline student don’t get your hopes up too much just to get crushed on Friday.</p>

<p>@UCkittychen- congrats! My status on MyUcla changed to my major as well. I have financial summary too. Man, I want to celebrate, but I have an exam that haven’t studied for at 930.</p>

<p>Also, perhaps it would be helpful if we all posted stats and pre-req completion, just to reiterate and for reference/completeness. It will help future students get a better idea of how accurate this ‘trick’ is.</p>

<p>Please let us know if you have other indicators not yet mentioned (Regents, etc…) as well.</p>

<p>regarding the major being denied, i have well enough transfer credits i checked with assist before taking & my major has no pre-reqs on assist.</p>

<p>seems the white bar is a strong indicator…go celebrate jet seems you’re all set buddy.</p>
