MyUCLA web site

@moon, I did! erm, what’s the sadface for?

you guys still awake? in a few moments it will be thursday.

at least we in this together, and browsing through past year’s thread really makes time go by faster

yes im awake. ive been literally doing my Stats homework for 4 hours. It usually only takes me 30 minutes. i can’t focus at all…

@justinetruant: he saw the FinAid Tracking and summary, but still rejected. Furthermore, he was shown as summer session student like us, and unsure of enrollment status for housing.

Ugh I’m just getting back home from school. These days stretch on forever…

same here, I have Calculus work to do, but my finger keep pressing that F5 button. Can’t resist…

@moon, A) I’m not sure if it was in this thread or the countdown one, but I went through the results for the past 4 years, and of all those 4 years, only 3 people had admissions decisions that conflicted with their finaid information. That member is one of those 3. If we’re going by percentages, over 90% (actually more like 99%) of people who could view their finaid were accepted, and those who could not either were rejected or did not fill out a FAFSA. To summarize, that member is an exception rather than part of a larger rule. It is more likely that they messed up their FAFSA or something was lost in translation in their application.

B) The housing bit is consistent with the current theories. “Unsure of enrollment” status TYPICALLY indicates rejection, HOWEVER, if you read through the rest of the threads from the past 4 years, you will see that there were applicants who had “unsure of enrollment” in the housing app up until 30 minutes prior to receiving their decisions. As such, that is not as reliable a source as finaid. Nearly every person who was accepted, however, eventually saw the “unavailable” error message rather than the “unsure” one.

lol You done a lot of work Justine, but thank you very much. That really comforts me.

Is anyone’s housing actually showing anything other than “unsure of enrollment”?

@moon - I think that was the student who ended up having a class that didn’t actually transfer and didn’t hit unit min.

Pbi: One more day!!!

thanks Jet, I think you’re right.
I think all of us are getting “unsure” at this point. speak up if I’m wrong!

I believe almost not a single person is able to access the housing application without getting the “unsure popup”

@justine
where are you looking for the housing status.
the housing link just has options for looking for housing.

Also, perhaps more people would post their results if there was a post that outlined how to create the account, what to do, and what indicators to look for. I myself am a little bit confused on how to check (if I were to check).

@JetLogic: if that is the case, mystery solved. =) Thank you.

^ thanks!

it’s thursday. tomorrow we will know the truth. unless all the computers crash.

still getting unsure of status too
