Can international students use the NACAC fee waiver form? Or is it exclusive to students from the US?
As an international student, living outside of the US, you can not use the NACAC fee waiver
That’s what I thought until I emailed Vanderbilt about it. They said they accept NACAC from internationals. That’s why I thought maybe all colleges who accept it from US students, accept it from internationals as well. Anyway, thank you for your answer.
That is Vanderbilt choosing to waive your application fee by saying just mail it. However, it is not the normative response. You will have yo contact each school on your list and ask them about waiving your application fee.
The rub will be that there are only 5 schools in the US that are both need blind and will meet 100% demonstrated need to international students. Your getting a fee waiver is going to be nothing in a process where your ability to pay will be a factor in the admissions process.
Surprisingly, all of the schools I applied to ended up giving me fee waivers. Sorry for the (very very) late response!
