Name Consistency question

Hi all,

I've got a middle name that I,uh, neglect often. So, when I registered on Collegeboard , I forgot to include it (or at least the initial). However, my University of Rochester application has my full name (as do my other apps), including the middle name.

I'm posting this specifically in the UoR forum because it's the school I'm primarily interested in, but when I send in my SAT scores, will they automatically align/be put with the rest of my application, even though the SAT scores don't have the middle name and my application does? If it helps, the address is the same, and I do believe both accounts have my Social Security number tied to them.

I'll probably call Collegeboard and try having my middle name added to my account anyway, but having an answer to this question would really help with some mental peace of mind in case calling Collegeboard doesn't work.

Thanks to anybody that has any information :)

As long as you provided your correct first name and last name, your test scores should associate with your University of Rochester application (we don’t include the middle name in our association process).

Problems arise when you try to interchange your first and last names, (the surname or “family name” is your last name), but the appearance or disappearance of a middle name shouldn’t matter at all on our application forms.

Your MyRoc account (http://enrollment.rochester.edu/admissions/myroc/</a>) will indicate which application items are still missing from your application. If worst comes to worst and the test scores don’t arrive from the Collegeboard, you can always put us in touch with your high school Guidance Counselor and we can get the official scores through that person.

Thanks for the response, TSocash!
