names and nicknames

hi everyone.
my real name is jennifer so i'm wondering if anyone can think of a nice nickname for me. not jennie, jen, or jenna--something different :) How does Fifi sound?? hahahah

lol would it be wierd if i go to a summer program and i change my name to something totally different...like on the app where it says "preferred name" i can use something else
hahaha i don't like my name it's too common
i want somethingn that would stand out =)

help!

I had two friends who were both named Jennifer and we called one Jenn and the other Ifer....lol.

But if you want it to be from your real name, some variation of Jen(n)(a) is pretty much all you've got...

How about Guinevere?

Why would anyone want that for a nickname let alone a first name? :P

Joking, but seriously, that is one long ass nickname that has absolutely nothing to do with her real name.

How 'bout Jennifer? (w/ the J pronounced as a Y)

Choose a name that is very stereotypical of another culture. Like, if you are white, maybe use 'Shaniqua'; if you are African American, use like "Josephina" or something.. it would be interesting when they met you :p

Nene or Fifi sounds great.

But I have the same issue. My name is boring, so think of a nickname for Roberto.

^ How 'bout the Anglo-Saxon form: Hrēodbēor

Or just Berto.

Fifi sounds like a poodle to me.

I call all the Robertos in my Latino clique Berto. But don't go for a white boy nick name, be proud of your heritage; the women go crazy over us :P

Some people call me Bert, some people call me Berto. I really like Bert. It sounds dorky.

i specifically recall saying that I hate people who do really annoying stuff for attention. That would qualify you wanting to be called something really abstract even though your name is common.

It might get attention, but it will also really annoy people if they find out what your real name is.

Haha... well, you don't have much choice if you want to stay close to your real name. And yes, it might get kind of annoying.

Cono - FYI....Guinevere is the original form of Jennifer.
ETYMOLOGY: The name Jennifer (pronounced jen-ee-fer) is of Welsh origin and means fair one. ORIGIN & HISTORY: An early form of the name Jennifer was Guinevere.

Mmm Voldemorta?

I second Voldemorta....

I don't like my name. I actually want to change it--like, legally. haha.
My grandmother picked it, and my mom didn't like it, and niether do I!

hahahah!! nice voldemorta..
