Received mine in the mail 3 weeks ago and con not find it posted in the BuckeyeLink… has anyone seen it posted in the online system?
In one of their emails states, “If you’re waiting on our merit awards such as the National Buckeye Scholarship, should you be a recipient it will be posted to your Applicant Center within the next few weeks.”
Month and 1/2 later and still not posted… I am amazed at how bad so many top universities are horrible with their customer service on things like this.
In the past they loaded the entire financial aid package all at once late Feb/early March. The award letter we received said something along the lines of “the minimum you will receive is…” but the financial aid package will have direct billed amounts, merit awards referenced in letters, possibly department scholarships, need based aid like work study/grants, available loans, etc. It’s not just as simple as posting your National Buckeye award to the account since they are trying to provide the best aid package they can. They do it this way so you have a clear and comparable offer.
I am Ok with that - BUT the University should tell you to expect the award to be posted to your account… its a simle thing… just do what you say you will do, or tell us what you are going to do (and then do it).
My DS received Provost and Buckeye in January (regular mail) and as of today it’s not posted anywhere in Buckeyelink.
