<p>I was just wondering what all of your thoughts were on it. For or against? Will you be participating.</p>
<p>Interesting, my school did this on Friday because we have break next week. I suppose it’s for a good cause, and I don’t think anyone would be against it.</p>
<p>I don’t do Day of Silence, but I’m all for it. I tried to do it last year, but I accidentally spoke less than an hour after I got to school. A lot of teachers in my school are against it though, and if a kid doesn’t speak when spoken to, they may get in a lot of trouble :l. We have one of the largest GSAs in CT, so it’s not like it’s only 1 or 2 kids getting in trouble, and most of them are really passionate about DoS… so it’s a bit of an issue.</p>
<p>DoS doesn’t promote being silent during classroom instruction.</p>
