National Merit Cutoff Predictions for Class of 2017 for TEXAS

Just got back from OU visit. I think it moved way up on my S’s list. Walked over 8 miles in one rainy day but it was worth it. It is not a full ride however it is 5 full years of tuition that is fall…spring and summer. When trying to way out all the scholarships that will make a huge difference. They were very up front and gave us real numbers. My son is looking at dorm life the first year then getting in an on campus apartment the rest of the time for saving money. To be honest the fees are the most costly other than housing. My son thinks he wouldn’t mind saving and working for the difference. All in all a really good visit.

@Tgirlfriend encourage your son to apply for outside scholarships to help cover the remaining costs. My D will be attending OU in Fall and was very successful at this.

I know I’m late, but I just joined the forum and wanted to pop in on this discussion

I have a 225 SI; I’m very much looking forward to September. I have a feeling we will all be hanging tight together at that time, haha.

@3scoutsmom …yes I sure will. Please feel free to message me any suggestions.

@nutmeg_shippy …welcome to our forum. 225 is a great score for Texas. Congratulations!!

I’m just wondering if any of your high schools made an official announcement about commended students. School is finished for the year and no announcement was made. In 2015 the announcement was made to our student body in mid May.

Our school announces commended with NMSF only.

SAT June done … 1530

Congrats @dallaspiano! Concords to about a 2230. Well done!

Woot @dallaspiano. Rest easy, that should certainly be a qualifying score

Any home schoolers…please let us know if you get a letter for NMSF and your SI number. All us Texans would greatly appreciate it. The wait is real!!!
