<p>I had completely forgotten about NM stuff until this morning when my principal read the list of Finalists over the announcements. I nearly fell out of my chair when I heard my name.</p>

<p>It’s rare to get anything from NMCorp…and it’s only a one-time thing. you might try applying to another NM school that covers tuition and housing.</p>

<p>My school got the letter today, and I’m in Tennessee :)</p>
<p>So i didnt get that rejection letter, so im assuming ill get a letter soon (Ohio).</p>
<p>Does being a Finalist mean anything if im going to Penn (accepted ED)?</p>

<p>My daughter’s guidance counselor told her Friday that they haven’t received the letter yet, but will notify her as soon as they do. Fortunately there isn’t a requirement for schools to wait until a certain date before telling finalists. We just have to wait for the school to receive the letter and I know our school received the semi-finalist notification later than many on CC. It goes to the principal first and if he is tied up in meetings or off campus that day everything gets delayed. Even if the school doesn’t notify her on Monday, we should get a letter at our house this week.</p>
