National Merit Finalists?

I know that USC does offer half tuition for NMF automatically without an interview. However, I know that it won't allow you to get half presidential/half NMF scholarship. Thus what other scholarship opportunities are allowed to go together with the NMF Scholarship?

I am really looking to find a way to pay for USC. If I do get that half tuition scholarship, how hard would it be to to receive the rest of the financial award to pay?

My EFC from the FAFSA is 0. But it doesn't take into consideration my dad's financial information since they are divorced. Thanks for any input!

Anything other than Presidential, Trustee, Deans should be possible. I don't know much about associates.

You can always get your automatic NMF Presidential bumped up to Trustee.

If you live in Southern California, you might be eligible for a Town & Gown scholarship. The award varies depending on your financial need and academic qualifications. http://www.townandgownusc.com/scholarships.htm

sfgiants: WHAT?! SINCE WHEN CAN NMF PRESIDENTIAL GET BUMPED UP?! I want more money...

I don't think NMF presidential can get bumped up... if you get a scholarship letter (besides the NMF one) that states that you're being considered for presidential, you could potentially rock your interview and get a trustee, but I don't think the NMF presidential (where you don't have to interview or anything, it's just automatic) can get bumped up...

Perhaps I worded it poorly. I meant to say that the NMF Presidential is just the minimum. If you get invited for Trustee or have a really great interview, USC isn't going to proclaim "Neener Neener Neener you are a NMF so the most you can get is half-tuition!!"

Thus, these Trustee recipients are "bumped up" in relative terms.

Ohhh got it. Sorry, my bio-filled brain is addled at the moment :)
