national merit list

Is there a list out there of all the schools that award scholarships to national merit finalists? I’ve got one day to designate my first choice school, but i want to know all my options first.

You have until late April to designate your first choice school (according to the Nat'l Merit Finalist letter)

oh yeah, i just read that part. i read the "march 1st" thing and i freaked. but anyways, about that list...

Here's an excellent list with live links.

<a href="http://homepage.mac.com/l_j/secondhome/National_Merit.html%5B/url%5D">http://homepage.mac.com/l_j/secondhome/National_Merit.html</a></p>

The University of Florida actively recruits finalists, and has more (259 in freshman class) than any other state school....you might want to investigate. I believe UT-Austin is worth checking into as well.

my S DID designate his first choice and I am concerned it should be changed to "undecided" until he decides where he is going to go. Should we change it?

ASU and Oklahoma give full rides!

Does designating a lower-tier college (USC for me) as a first choice for obvious money reasons affect chances at my real first choices (Princeton, Stanford, Penn, etc.)?

Does anyone know if the deadline is march 1st to list any of these schools as first choie - Furman University, University of Miami, Rollins College, or University of Richmond?

heres how you can decide, figure out which school you would be most likely to attend if you didnt get the scholarship money, or put it on your safety school that you wouldnt mind going to because you could say you are on "X scholarship" (full half, whatever)

Oklahoma not only gives full rides to NMFs - they give FIVE years free tuition plus $25,000!

is anyone considering the ASU option? i'm going to the dinner tonight to find out more.

I think Arkansas might give a free ride too.
