<p>Does anyonw know if ND offers money for being a National Merit Finalist/naming ND as the first-choice college? I couldn't find it anywhere. We're trying to figure out our financial situation as soon as possible, and money's probably going to be a huge factor in deciding where I go as I'm split equally between ND and another school.</p>

but they don’t give anything much or separate</p>
<p>I remember asking the regional rep and I’m pretty sure he said they give something, but it was like 2000 if I remember correctly so it was more beneficial just to get it through nmsc. I might be getting nd confused with anotehr school though.

<p>No NMS are awarded. You can check the NMS website to see the schools that participate. There is NO pure merit aid awarded at ND–it is ALL tied to financial need. If you do not have financial need, you do not receive money regardless of your merit.</p>
