<p>I just got invited to join NSCS. It's a $75 membership and i'm a flat broke college kid, so I was wondering if anyone here has been/is a part of NCSC and could tell me a little about their experience. Thanks.</p>
<p>Most people won't pay to join, don't know of any use in being a member.</p>
<p>I'm a "member" but have never gone to a meeting so I can't tell you what it's like. However, I do get a lot of e-mails from them telling me of all the things they are doing and it sounds like something I should be getting more involved in.</p>
<p>I wouldn't join, it seems like a scam to me. Almost everyone I know got invited, even someone who isn't doing well in school.</p>
