So I'm really bummed out, because my AP Biology teacher said she nominated me for the NYLF on Med earlier this year and while most of my friends got one, I didn't. I was super hyped, and idk, it didn't seem that selective and I thought I might've been a shoo-in. What happened? :(

Don’t be too bummed out. It does not seem too legit. I got a letter today and you have to pay like almost $3000 for a 5-day event. There are so many better medical programs out there that will look so much bettr on college applications. Don’t fret about it.

Still, I just feel bad I got left out, ya know? :(

Not a big deal, I was nominated last year (and I was supposed to be nominated again but I told my teacher to not bother since I would not attend). It sounds cool, but is extremely expensive and it is almost impossible to get scholarships, in the end I went to a different country through a different program that I was accepted into and it cost less and was a much longer program (so happy I pursued the other program).

You didn’t get in. You can’t change that. What you can change is your attitude about not getting in.

Colleges don’t give a damn about it.

Don’t feel bad. Atleast your teacher found the capability in you that she has nominated you.

onesie are not only for the kids but now adult onesies are also available

Dude I got like 10 on them this month. It’s not worth it. And I’m pretty sure no one nominated me.
