<p>I'm looking for really good schools like Princeton Day or Lawrenceville in the New Jersey area, specifically around the Somerset/Princeton area... Schools which have a good Ivy League acceptance rate, and schools which are close to Edison, NJ.</p>
<p>Peddie is amazing! I’m dying to go there. It’s about 8 miles south from Princeton and has boarders and day students. Pingry is a nationally known day school, but it might be a bit far if you don’t live close (It’s in Martinsville). those schools and Lawrenceville are what come to mind for me…</p>
<p>Blair is in New Jersey, but not sure where about as I’m not familiar with the area. Other than that both Lawrenceville and Peddie are fantastic schools. My current hosueparent went to Lawrenceville :)</p>
<p>I’d love to go to Lawrenceville and Peddie, but the whole Saturday classes and after-school obligations are a little daunting considering the fact it’s about 40 mins from where I live… but regardless of that I’m still applying! I’ve heard that Pingry is pretty good too.</p>
<p>if you live in edison pingry is kind of far away. but if you’re looking towards that area theres also delbarton which is good for smart athletes and newark academy. but you probably will just want to apply as a boarder. the gas money adds upp</p>
<p>@Ylawx1123, Pingry’s only twenty minutes from where I live, so it’s not far… I’m not looking to apply as a boarder anywhere… On my list I’ve got PDS, Peddie, Lawrenceville, Pingry… I need more second choices and safeties… I’m looking to apply to atleast 6/7 schools. And Delbarton is further away from Pingry for me… Hun seems good, but the thing is that it would be one of my lesser choices because it’s not too close (closer then Lville, but Lville is worth the traveling…), and Pingry offers a bus service from Edison to campus so it’s one of my top choices…</p>
