Ok, the other day my dad was talking to his friend about me, and he said that this obscure provision, because I'm a Canadian Indian, could let me apply in the US as an American Indian. I done some research and came up with this:

(SI 00502.105 Exemption from Alien Provisions for Certain Noncitizen Indians)
and this http://www.uscis.gov/propub/ProPubVAP.jsp?dockey=724ce55f1a60168e48ce159d286150e2
(Chapter 23.8 Section 289 Cases)

Those links are from govt. websites, so they're legit. Basically, it says I am considered by the US Government an American Indian born in Canada. Even further, it says I don't need a Green Card as long as I have my tribal documents, but can get one if I want! Because I don't have any time, do you think American universities would just accept my documents, and also how would finantial aid work out? Is an SSN really needed, cause I don't have one. Seriously, I can't find much more on this and I wondering if anyone's ever heard of it. Thoughts???
