Does anyone know if the Naval Academy sends acceptance letters to NAPS candidates at a certain time? I finished my application for the Academy back in October and have been patiently waiting for some type of response. Thank you for all of your help.

Hey, I’m not sure to your question but I was hoping that you could help me out with my question. I was nominated for USNA but just recently got the letter stating so. Therefore, I am behing on my nominations process. They told me to look in NAPS but how do I apply? What are the requirements? I looked at the website but my questions still were not answered.

NAPS offers are made throughout the Admissions Board’s tenure, probably more heavy towards the end (Feb, March) than at the beginning(August). There will also be a waiting list formulated to which you will not be aware and offers from it may be made even later into the May and later timeframe.

adrjadrj, can’t quite follow your question. Nominations are from the MOC. So if you have a nomination, You have until the end of February to complete your USNA application. If you missed the nomination deadline or did not receive one, you are still eligible for NAPS alone. NAPS appointments are made from the regular USNA application, again, for which you have until the end of February to complete.
