Naviance problem: seeking advice :)

Hey guys I have a few questions regarding naviance:

How important is it/ What significance it is for colleges inCommon App and Naviance Accounts to tally?

If recommendation status has been changed to "completed", does it mean that it has been sent to the colleges, what about those colleges just added to the list (after teacher has completed the reco)? OR is the recommendation stored in my own Common App account?

After waiver of FERPA on Naviance and keying in of Common App info on Naviance, my Common App School forms page remains:

Release Authorization

Your school is using Naviance eDocs to complete the FERPA waiver and release authorization. If you have not already done so, please contact your counselor directly and they will provide instructions specific to your school regarding this document.

Is this normal? I thought it should be:

Release Authorization

I have authorized the release of all requested records under the FERPA Act and have waived my right to access.

Is transcripts sent directly from Naviance to Schools? OR is it stored in my own CA account?

THANKS :)

great questions. I was going to make a thread and then saw yours.
After applying, the main application has a status “Downloaded”, and the rest (Supplements and Payments) have “Completed”. Shouldn’t they also be “Downloaded” since I’ve sent in all the required materials?

And to answer question #3, if your school sends your documents by mail, it will take a couple of weeks for colleges to receive them. This is what happened in my case. Since I used the CB fee waivers, my GC sent everything by mail so the fee waiver would not get separated from the rest of my information.

anyone? bump
