Navy ROTC

Does anyone know UofR's policy on automatically giving free room and board if you have a 4 year NROTC scholarship for tuition? I know some other schools like George Washington U have this policy.

It anyone has any other knowledge of NROTC unit at UofR they would care to share it would be appreciated.

From the UR website:

Naval ROTC

Doesn't say anything about room & board.

You can e-mail directly and ask at xo@mail.rochester.edu.

e-Mailing the XO or CO won't go any good. I know that NROTC does not cover room & board. My question was does UofR for 4-year scholarship students? Many schools do such as George Washington University.

If they don't say they do, assume they don't.

I have received notification on being awarded a four-year Navy ROTC scholarship to the University of Rochester, and in the letter sent to me BY THE COLLEGE it does state: "FREE ROOM and BOARD at the University of Rochester for Midshipmen on NROTC scholarship!!!" then goes on to say that the Rochester Institute of Technology (where I will attend) offers a partial room and board grant, although through my communication with RIT it seems as if they too will cover the full room and board costs.
