Scout.com: Johnson on DC Bowl: We'll play Navy

[quote]
... Johnson, who is in the midst of spring practice with his Georgia Tech squad, admitted that he had not heard about the ACC signing the agreement with the Congressional Bowl, so in a way I guess I was delivering some news to him. However, it did not take him long to digest it and form an opinion of what he thought of such a possible game with his former team.

“We’ll play Navy,” Johnson said immediately and in a tone that I would say was enthusiastic.

Fun food for thought...

I hope they meet on the playing field. That will be a great game.

Go Tech! Beat Navy!

^^^^ So you must be an Army Mom. ;) Maybe wishing for a little "revenge" for GT beating Army last fall.

For the season my allegience falls with GT but you better believe if they meet it will be

GO NAVY! Beat Tech!

I'm not sure I'd hold my breath on that one. too much to lose for Tech, so little to gain, would seem to me. Of course Johnson would say "cool" when he was thinkin' "I hope we can do bettern that ... or else I'm fired." He did not go to GT to play USNA beyond an early season tune-up and guarantee game for the Mids, be assured.

^^^ It is an ACC agreement with the DC Bowl, PJ may not get any choice if he ends up being the ACC designated opponent and is Bowl Eligible.

oh no profmom!!!!!!! Now which side are you gonna sit on???? ;)
