NC State Chances of Admissions

I currently have a 3.75 unweighted high school GPA, and I am transferring in about 70 college credits at a 3.8 GPA because I am an early college student. I am ranked third in my class, I am the Interact Club Vice President, a member at large of the student government, and I am involved in numerous other clubs… However my one flaw is a 22 ACT score… Practice tests are projecting my score to be potentially a 23 on 6/11/16, but even with a 23 I would fall far under NC State’s average ACT score… I’ve known people to be admitted to other schools with scores much much much lower than that schools average, but is this the case with NC State? With my test score is it even worth applying? The explanation for my low test score is my terrible testing anxiety, inability to complete even half of the questions in the given amount of time during the test. I really just need an idea of if I would be the complete laughing stock of the admissions office, or do I actually stand a chance? Going forth it might be realistic to raise my score to a 23-24, but even with that would I get into NC State? I want to study management in order to persue Human Resources of that makes any difference,
Thanks

I think you have a good shot at NC State. Have you tried the SAT? Maybe you will do better on that. Practice and you’ll do fine.

Just practice a ton and you should be able to get a decent score, I mean you must’ve worked hard to be 3rd in your class. Just apply that work ethic to an SAT or ACT practice book and you’ll be good. And even if you end up with a 25 as your final score, it really isn’t the end of the world. I doubt NC State is going to reject someone just because of their score.
