NC State puts a heavy emphasis on GPA and class rank. 52% of students this time around did not submit scores. Everything else is basically window dressing. A lot of very high stat kids apply to NCSU as a backup. So, if it is your top choice then know that they take hundreds of kids through spring admission and off the waitlist.
Source – my kid with similar stats from Wake County was deferred EA, accepted for spring during RD and then offered a spot for fall. He turned them down.
