Does anyone know when we hear back from our housing applications?
I got an email on Saturday saying I was accepted into the engineering village. I accepted April 30th
I think everyone that cannot get on-campus housing that wants it should setup a tent in front of the Chancellor’s home until they solve the housing shortage problem
@ToddinRaleigh don’t get me started on the housing. Son #2 (a rising senior) has struggled to get a room last year and for this fall. When freshman were required on campus it jammed up the whole system. Not only did that take up more space, but they turned the signup system upside down. Priority for housing is now given to soph, junior, and them seniors. Used to be the other way around.
I think I am going to buy Son #3 (incoming freshman) a small RV and a commuter parking pass. He can use campus wifi and take a shower in the gym.
@DecideSomeHow was your Son successful in getting assigned a room his Senior year. It’s really been a mess. My child has a room for the Sophomore year but it was hard to get. I know students that could not get rooms on campus and got assigned University Towers as a Freshman. I really don’t see any dorms getting built in the future to even get close to solving this issue. Total black eye for the University.
