UNC doesn’t have engineering. I would choose UNC for comp sci and NC State for engineering.
I would choose Chapel Hill if finances could afford me to do so.
Why are you considering UNC Chapel Hill if you aim to major in engineering?
Right now, my boys are juniors. They are getting their college list together. They are both interested in chapel hill, but not sure how students that want engineering attend UNC.
Engineering majors attend NCSU or some other school besides UNC-CH.
They don’t? North Carolina tries not to duplicate programs so public health is at UNC and engineering is at NC State. Students who are strictly interested in engineering attend NC State. For students who are interested in say, both public health and engineering, there may be a program. Check to see if there is any type of joint degree offered by both schools.
