Will I have higher chances of building a successful career if I transfer to NC State? (I currently attend UNCW).

4.0 GPA.
I can afford any public university. NCSU costs a little bit more.
Considering your GPA and the fact NCSU would be equally affordable (as long as “a little bit more” remains affordable), I don’t see a downside to applying to NCSU and then making your decision.
NCSU is stronger academically and would have better links to city firms, but UNC W has a good reputation too. So, while NCSU is in some ways better, UNCW isn’t a bad choice either, and no matter what happens, you’re good
Note that NCSU will take your HS results and test scores into account, too.
