Initiated HOSA at my school.
Please help me guys. I need other helpful insight on this.
I’m Union County too! And applying this year as well. I’m not an expert (obviously) but here are my 2 cents. Your courses look really good, and there’s a lot of STEM focus, which is good. It also helps you took Civics over the summer and got an A, and though you got an 80 in AP Bio, you did take it over the summer as a rising sophomore which is still impressive. I wouldn’t worry too much about the 84 in AP Lang, as it’s not a STEM course, but you should still try to bring it up if you can. I’d say your most impressive extracurricular are that you initiated HOSA, but try to milk the other ones if you can in your essays. As for your SAT, it isn’t very high above your school’s average, so you may have some difficulty there. I’d say you should work really hard on your essays and talk A LOT about your course rigor and about HOSA.
