I did the same thing too, no worries. Honestly, I hope on everything else aside I can get in. Not just for the learning experience, but a new start at High School. If anyone wants to chat add me on Skype: NintendoFan2298

@loltired I agree with the confusing wording part. For some problems, I just stared at the problem for a moment because I wasn’t entirely sure what they were asking me for, and other times, when I got the answer, I didn’t know what format to write it in. I really hope that they don’t take off for an answer just because it’s in the wrong format… But mostly I’m glad that the problems were pretty straightforward. No tricks or booby traps. Yah!

Will we ever find out what we made on the Discovery Day test?

@WhiteRabbit98 No you won’t. The ONLY way for you to know is if your parents tell you, and the only reason THEY will know is if that was the soul reason you weren’t accepted.

@WhiteRabbit98 I’m really behind, but I was also wondering about they should I go or not thing. I’ve decided that if I get in, I’m going. I might not make all A’s, but I think it would be worth it since all of the classes at my school are way too easy, at least they are for me. There’s also clubs and other things I wouldn’t have the option to try if I don’t go. I’ve also talked to some people from NCSSM (we were working with their FIRST team, they’re really cool) and they seemed to love it. I think it’s worth it, even though I’m pretty scared of miniterm. (shoutout to team 900 to making it to championships! You guys rock!)

@nintendofan2298 That stinks! I wanted feedback on that test. I answered everything, but there was two I didn’t know so I just put down answers.

I really hope that we all get in because you guys seem like you would make really good friends.

Yea I really hope the best happens. Im worried

@NintendoFan2298 WHOOPS, then if that’s the case, I don’t really want to know my test score anymore, LOL.

@songbird13 I can definitely relate. And I think I have finally decided. Needless to say, I’m a little scared, and kind of sort of terrified of mini-term, but I’ve decided that if I get accepted, I will go. The Mount Everest workload might be a daily struggle and there’s probably going to be a point when I scream in horror at the first B I’ve had in years, but from what I’ve heard, NCSSM really is a cool place that is rewarding in many ways if you take advantage of all it has to offer. And if we are all future students, then it’s safe to say that the class of 2016 will totally kick butt!

Heres the thing though. Even though you wont get those straight As youve had all those years, colleges is going to see you were at this school, and youre basically set to go to any college you want.

@NintendoFan2298 @WhiteRabbit98 @songbird13 Exactly. I’m going to be disappointed, if I get a B, but the opportunities outweigh it by 100000000000000000000. I’m so ready to know.
17 days. 8 hours. 21 minutes.

@WhiteRabbit98 I’m going to freak at my first B, but I think it will totally be worth it!

@NintendoFan2298 @WhiteRabbit98 @willsister1 agreed. the opportunities are what make it worth it. Can we just fast forward to April 3?

7 more days until there’s only 10 more days! 12 more days until there’s only 5 more days! 16 more days until there’s only one more day! 17 days until IT’S THE DAY!

We’re getting there, guys! C’MON MAN. I’M READY. I’M PUMPED. COME AT ME, BRO. I’M READY FOR YA. (Puts up fists and takes a few jabs)

P.S. Happy Saint Patrick’s Day, everyone! :)

I would love to just fast forward. I’m so anxious about it. I just want to know. I’ve had my bags packed since the 3rd grade when I found out about the school. Now that it is finally here, I just want to go. There’s that voice in the back of my head going, “What if you don’t get in?” I’m trying to ignore it and focus on my schoolwork now, but its getting really difficult. I know April 3rd is going to be a longggggg day because we have to wait until 5. Can they just tell us on March 27th? They said that the Selection Committee was going to meet on the 26th. I’m glad they moved it up though, it was April 15th last year. I wouldn’t have been able to wait that long. I need answers! I just want to know if I got in to the school of my dreams.
17 days. 4 hours. 59 minutes.

I’M SO READY but so not ready if I don’t make it. That terrifies me. Everyone else says I’ll get in, but they aren’t the ones on the Selection Committee.

I’M TOO IMPATIENT FOR THIS. I just want answers, preferably soon. I try to forget about that whole “you won’t get in idea,” but it’s hard until you know for sure that you’re in. I feel bad for my friends because I’m just going to talk about NCSSM alllllll of April 3rd! I agree, March 27th sounds way more convenient, well, for me at least. Me either! That’s way too late!

17 days. 4 hours. 31 minutes. 9 seconds.

Do you think I can ask to be put to sleep until April 3rd? I want to know if I got in already!!! D: Maybe now is the time to invent a time machine…

That sounds like a really good idea! Maybe if we could get out of more school, I could sleep through the wait! (It is currently snowing and sleeting here, but we just had a 2-hour delay.) Is it acceptable just to post the results March 27th? I know someone else mentioned it, but it really would definitely work! 17 days 3 hours and 53 minutes is just too long for me to wait.

There’s nothing else for me to do, so I keep checking the electronic tracking page thing for updates, and every time I go back, nothing has changed, and the page is just like “lolno just stop.”

@songbird13 I want snow! It’s 34 degrees here -_-

So are you guys at school? I’m in an online class right now.

I keep checking to see if my transcript is approved, but it never is! It’s submitted though, so I’m okay.

@IceeSky Yes! It’s still snowing and they haven’t called it off. We might not have school tomorrow though! I have an online class for 2nd period; it’s awful.

True. I keep Refresh. Refresh. Refresh.

@whiterabbit98 I keep checking the page every time I log on to my computer. My evaluations aren’t up yet, but my counselor just mailed them last Wednesday.
@songbird13 I love snow, but I’m getting annoyed by it. I already have Monday and Tuesday of spring break gone and the rest of the week, I have my college classes. We have 3 days added on to the end of the year. Then we have to come to school 5 minutes early and 5 minutes got taken off of lunch to keep us from having to go even more. We’ve missed 7 days up here on the Virginia boarder.
@IceeSky I’d like to just wake up and it be April 3rd at 5.
I have to do my online class at home:/ I wish I had a class period for it.

I am a current student here at Science and Math, and I would not stress this out too much. I know it is really exciting, but honestly, there are so many other things you can be doing to keep your mind off of it, spring sports, academic clubs, grades, college visits, etc. Try not to think too much of it.
