NCSSM Decisions.

True. I haven't officially singed up yet. I signed up in order to have new SAT scores for EPGY. But, I could use my 7th grade scores, if I can find them.

like if u think u can get the desired score for the college u want to get in by taking the SAT twice, then it's fine

Twice? I think I once is enough for me. :D

Oh, well, u r Chaos Theory! I forgot abt it! :D

CT...if you took the SAT in 7th grade for TIP then they are probably deleted from the College Board database (unless you specifically requested that they be saved by June following your 7th grade year), but the TIP office still has your scores and will forward the reports to EPGY.

I got a 1940 on my SAT; have a 4.5 weighed GPA, straight A's all through high school, got accepted at Summer Ventures but am on the waitlist at NCSSM. What do you think my chances are of getting in as a finalist

I heard that they usually take a bunch from the waitlist because some people just apply to see if they can get in.

that makes me feel better. I wonder how many are on the waitlist? Will they pick by Congressional district

yeah, they pick by Congress. Distric......which county r u from? Seems like u r from Wake or Mecklenburg county :D

I am from Wake county

Oh, yeah, I knew it! So, it's kinda like, Wake County is the valley of death! (or the Congress. District of Death) ;)

lucky me!!
do you know how many are on the waitlist? and what my chances are? I really would love to go to NCSSM.

U r definitely eligible for NCSSM! (if only u were from some rural Congress. Distric,u'd have surely made it in! LOL!) Anyway, I can just remember that it's something around 40 (?) I don't exactly remember, what she told on the discovery day, but that's what I think she said. (a senior at NCSSM)
Anyway, I'll still ask them this Welcome Day and u r going to ask anyway, so....hopefully u can get too!

FINALIST,
what courses are you all signing up for? I'll decide upon mine's by tomorrow and post here.

Hey this is my first post!!! Im on waitlist and they told me there are 30 boys, and 30 girls on waitlist. Last year, 29 guys were taken off the waitlist so this sounds somewhat promising....

So who else is absolutely sure they failed the Chem placement test? I'm beginning to think I should just take underwater basket weaving.

I guess there's no underwater basket weaving though J.! :D

yeah, airplane, that sounds really promising to me too, taking into fact. abt the the VT shooting some parents' might think differently, so hopefully u can get in :)

yeah that chem. placement test was rough... I dont feel to bad now that there are others feeling justas bad about it as i am...

So, I want to bump this thread up......the NCSSM Decision is out right?

can I see a hand for all the accepted/wait listed juniors for next year? :D

Innovative -- have you added yourself to the Definite Classmates thread? I am guessing you got into NCSSM -- if so, congrats!

haha..no..I am a rising senior at ncssm. :D

Maybe you could tell everyone about your experiences, Innovative. :p

How about you, Didnotfaillife?
