<p>Received a response from NCSU admissions insisting they have sent no notifications to freshmen applicants and wont until the 15th. Someone isnt getting the story straight.</p>

<p>I saw your conversation with them on their twitter feed, Dowzerw. They were pretty insistent. Maybe Naturallymepc is right about the transfer thing. Who knows! I’ll just keep checking the wolfpaw account, and wait Saturday out.</p>
<p>I thought transfer applications don’t get a response or anything until spring? Because for the freshman applying they have to have at least first semester college grades to show.</p>

<p>They found out on their wolf paw account. She is not a transfer student but ranked number 1 in her class and had also applied to some other competing schools.</p>
<p>Hmmm. They were emphatic they would not release any before the 15th at 7pm. Congrats to her. Checked sons Wolfpaw and still no decision.</p>

<p>Congrats to all! Don’t know why as late as yesterday they were still insisting they would announce tomorrow at 7pm. Earlier is better than later, though! DS is deferred. 
Hate knowing he will have to continue to wait but so it goes.</p>

<p>Not sure what my son did wrong but I just checked his acct and it says scheduled for decision you will receive by mail or check Wolfpaw on 1/30/13 at 7:00 p.m.? It says the decision will be admit, deny, or defer for further review - is there any reason his decision is later than today? I noticed last week his acct still said they had not review it yet - could it be it was sent in too late? The SAT’s/ACT appear to be received in time? Any thoughts? He is out of state.</p>
<p>If everything was turned in by October 15th, he should be receiving his decision now. If any materials were late, they probably pushed him back to the next deadline.</p>
