Deferred as well  this sucks

D was accepted from PA into Sport Management

accepted to physics, in state :)

Deferred. Applied for CS, in-state.
Still surprises me, as I know several kids that had lower SAT scores and less rigorous curriculum than I did and yet still made it.

There seem to be a lot of deferrals. There’s nothing statistically significant in our self reporting but just noticing…

My son got accepted into electrical engineering but there were a lot of students from his school that got deferred. Keep the faith and do exactly what they request of you. It will all work out.

What school? In state?

accepted into engineering- mechanical intent!
Out of State from FL

But does anyone know what the deal is on scholarships, is there any merit-based aid at state, and if so, when do we find out if we received any?

dancaw, since this is my gap year I’ve actually done all of this before just not with State, but with the other UNC schools that I applied to last year, I found out about merit aid at the same time as need based, in one package.

I got accepted! Materials Engineering, out-of-state from Florida. Did anyone receive a financial aid packet with their acceptance?

dowzerw, he got in state

D accepted oos for anthropology

And it was posted in Wolfpaw last night when I happened to check in a whim. Looked at the acceptance letter online and it was dated 12/11.

I was accepted in state into biological sciences. I also received an email and a letter yesterday that said pending admission I would be given a $1000 scholarship and was given info on how to apply for more competitive scholarships.

So just keep checking your mail for the scholarship info!

D is accepted to the School of Natural Resources OOS , NJ 26 ACT 3.8 wgpa. very excited!

I was deferred too. It seems like they’re deferring a lot of people. Is that a good thing?
