means something along the lines of advanced enrollment deposit. if you’re able to access the mypackportal, the aed pops up 24hrs-ish before decisions r released, signaling if you got in or not, I got deferred the first time around and never saw mine when I managed to get into the mypackportal, but could see it during the regular decision round…… There’s a whole tutorial of how to access the aed in the threads from last year
decisions usually come out the last Friday of January so essentially tomorrow meaning most aeds would come in today
Has anyone successfully accessed my pack portal this year?
No. But did try to “reset password” with presumed unity id (first and middle initial then 6 letters of last name). It wouldn’t reset because it said security questions hadn’t been set up. But she did subsequently get an email about failed pw reset. So apparently that unity id is tied to her email. Are all applicants assigned a unity id? Her withdraw link disappeared yesterday.
The same thing happened to me, it said my security questions haven’t been set up yet. It didn’t send me any emails though and my withdraw button hasn’t disappeared.
So who knows
You would think if you didn’t have an assigned unity id, it would just say something like that unity id didn’t exist, instead of mentioning the security questions.
That makes sense, every time I try to reset my password tho it says the default or Unity Id is incorrect. So confusing, I’m a first gen college student so I don’t really have anyone to explain this lol
I think that is promising. We still have withdraw button and when we try to reset password it says invalid Unity ID.
No withdrawal link here. But doesn’t recognize the UID. First initial, middle initial, last name (4 letters).
No idea what that means.
I think it is first and middle initial then up to 6 letters of last name. But I’m not sure for shorter last names. Some may have numbers added.
Ditto! Withdraw option still showing. Went to Unity portal and tried to reset password but says “Security Questions Not Set.”
When I go to reset my password, it says “forbidden.” I still have the withdraw button, but yesterday when I checked, it said invalid UnityID.
So I put in like my ID without my middle initial, and it said invalid ID. When I put it in my real ID it, again, told me to reset my security questions but it tells me I have an invalid Id or password when I try to do that. There has to be an issue with the password because the ID works. I don’t want to get my hopes up but this looks pretty positive
For me when I tried to reset my password, it says, “There is an issue with your security Questions”. It accepted my Unity ID, so does that mean I most likely got accepted?
Also, I still have the “Need to Withdraw” button
NCSU gives very very very little merit to incoming freshmen. Aside from the big ones like Park, don’t expect anything. There could be some small departmental offers, but they will be small. Their options are a bit better in 2nd year through the scholarship portal. Our student received $1200 this year for his major, and hoping fthe or same or more this fall.
Same I’m thinking that we will but I have no idea
Did you also have the same message as I had for when you tried to reset your password? “There is an issue with your security questions”? And what does that mean? So obviously, my UnityID works which could mean I am accepted, but do you think it is possible to be deferred or rejected even though I know my UnityId works?
So we have to set up the security questions but every time I try it says that my password or id is wrong. It’s obviously not my id since it’s accepted on the forgot password page, so it’s the password. I got the same message but if you think about it logically they wouldn’t have made an id for us if they hadn’t accepted us I don’t think. Unless they automatically make one when you apply, which wouldn’t really make sense.
That is true. Thank you so much! Let me know when you get accepted tomorrow! Hoping we both get accepted tomorrow or even today evening! What major did you apply for if you don’t mind me asking?
