Will they still deny you even if you’re grades, gpa, etc… is really good but not for that particular major? I hope they at least defer you so they can give you an opportunity to switch majors.
Are you guys all applying for the transfer admission for NCSU for fall of 2018?
@statetransfer I am
Do you know when the results are coming out? @PStransfer1842
If anyone could pressure them into releasing it early that would be execellent
@statetransfer the transfer page says april 15 but that’s a Sunday. Last year april 15 was a sat and they released Friday April 14 at 5pm. Based on that timeline my guess is that they will release Friday the 13 at around 5pm
Can someone chance me please? Tell me what information you all need and I’ll give you in order to do that chance. Thanks
@statetransfer Hey! In order to chance you we need what year you are, what school you are at now, GPA, total credit hours, and maybe some activities you are involved in.
This is my first year in college. I attend ECU. My first semester was undecided major and gpa was really bad. It’s was like a 2.57. My second semester major was psychology and my grades for every class is passing. Like high B’s. Total credits is like 29-30. Currently no activity
Is there anyone here that goes to ECU that are applying for State?
@statetransfer we need to know what college you’re applying to transfer into. Each major is in its own college which then has its own set of course and GPA requirements. But based off of your credits and GPA I think your chances are kind of low. But that’s not a bad thing! You could just take another year at ECU to really dedicate yourself and make all A’s and reapply!
But again, my word is not the admission decision so that’s not to say you don’t have a chance!
I’m applying to state as a psychology major? Does anyone know if it’s easier to apply to state next year for the fall of spring? Like which is less competitive?
@statetransfer oh I’m sorry I missed where you stated that.
For a psych major that’s the college of humanities and the minimum requirements for transfers is a 3.0 GPA, English, and a college math other than Statistics.
I have heard that applying for spring transfer Is less competitive than applying for fall transfer but I’m not how true that is.
I am hoping that they would consider looking at my spring semester grades instead of the fall since I had changed my major plus I am applying as a transfer student for psychology
Whether they were to reject or to accept, would the wolfpaw still us the decision being made?
@PStransfer1842 I am currently taking math and English. As for psychology, I have a high B in the class
What is your gpa?
@jayallday What is your GPA? ignore the last message.
@statetransfer I am
@statetransfer your spring grades will say in progress, and while they may defer until spring grades they will look pretty heavily at fall semester and high school scores. That’s great you have a B in psych, keep it up!
I’m not sure I understand your question about wolfpaw. But when the decision is made you will get an email from state saying a decision has been made and to check your wolfpaw for the decision.
