NCTE Achievement Awards in Writing?

Hey Guys!

I’m just wondering whether the NCTE achievement awards in writing are held in high regard as showing of an E.C. dedication. I’m the co-editor of my school’s literary magazine and I’ve been published in a few professional literary magazines. Would the NCTE recognition do anything else for me? Just wondering if I’m gonna hit the grind on it!

Also as far as whether it’s “good” I’m trying to use it to supplement an Ivy or Ivy-peer grade transcript. It’s not my main thing but I’m trying to show the dedication I have for it any way I can!
