All say they meet 100% but looking for any additional insight. Are any better than the others with need based money. Thanks.

Run the net price calculators on the finaid web pages at each school. Input your family’s financial information and you will get the best estimate possible for your particular situation. The schools determine what your need is so you’ll see what they think it is.

I can’t speak to ND, but be aware that Vanderbilt will meet 100% of need (as they define it) with grants, while WUSTL almost always uses loans. The NPCs between Vanderbilt and WUSTL gave us drastically different numbers. During our visits to each school, we spoke with financial aid and went over the numbers. Both told us that, barring any drastic changes to our financial situation, what we got on the NPCs looked accurate to them.

Let’s put it this way, one was surprisingly generous and one was completely unaffordable. Of course, that was for our particular situation. YMMV.

Any info on ND?

My daughter got a generous package from ND. IT almost exactly matched her need according to our FAFSA EFC at the time (even though they use the profile). They really wanted her to come there, though. It’s possible she got “preferential packaging”. I don’t know for sure. She had done the Global Issues Seminar the summer before Senior year which got her on their radar, I guess. We ended up not taking the package because of full merit offers elsewhere, but we had to really think about it.
