Nearly Out of Options...What to do?

Parents always are. So here’s some unsolicited mom-advice for the future: When you find yourself in some kind of trouble, or with problems that seem unsolvable, don’t hesitate to talk to the people “over” you – professors and deans now, bosses later. Most people are very willing to work with someone who’s having some kind of personal difficulty. The only thing is, most of them aren’t mind-readers so you need to let them know; the sooner, the better. In this case, you did the right thing by contacting your prof; go ahead and get others in the administration involved too.

Good luck to you!
