Necessary to contact admissions?

This is about midyear reports, guys, so chill!

William and Mary lists their deadline for midyear reports as being the 15th, but also mentions that the deadline is flexible because not all semesters end before the 15th.

So I assume a good grace period (a few weeks) is probably okay.

My semester just ended Friday (the 29th), so of course I was planning on coming back Tuesday (teacher work day Monday) and having requesting my GC mail it in.

Then...we got the big snow storm...

...that dumped over a foot of snow on our area.

The likelihood of school at all this week is very slim, so I was wondering if I might need to contact admissions to mention my midyear report will be really late.

The second week of February seems a little too late to me. Should I mention it or not? Maybe shoot them an email? A quick phone call?

Or are midyear reports not that big of a deal as long as they get it?

Just checking. Don't want to do something stupid.

No, don’t contact W&M. The mid-year reports come out at about this time from all HSs and they already know that. It’s not a “deadline”. Of course they would like the information asap, but high schools will send the reports when they’re ready. No need to tell the college what they already know.
