I'm from the DC area, and we've had Snowpocalypse and Snowmageddon in the past two weeks. I haven't been able to get my midyear report requests to my counselor because of this. I'm guessing that my midyear reports might not make it to the colleges until late Feb. Is this extremely late and problematic? Though 1st semester didn't end until late Jan...

Anyone? I heard that UPenn’s deadline for midyear reports is 2/15 (not certain), and I’ll miss that for sure.

Email the colleges and explain your situation. I’m sure they’ll understand. =)

I feel ya! I live in dc but go to school in western md and the snow is crazy! There’s nooo way I can get mine in either, I suggest emailing the school which is what I guess I’m gonna do lol they didn’t even have our transcripts changed until feb 11th

Each college is slightly different but mid to end February is typically the deadline. I’m sure they’ll understand the snow issue. lol

upenn is pretty lenient about that. its the application that really adheres to deadlines.

Im worried that my Guidance Counselor put my midyear reports in the mail late… My transcript was not updated until last week and my school is on winter break now. Would that have any effect on admissions?

Bump, I need the answer too

If you’re really worried, send them an email. You’re definitely not the only one.

My college, W&M, said their deadline was flexible, so I just had it sent out as soon as we got back from the snow weeks. There’s really not much more you can do than just send it ASAP.
