<p>None of these schools are matches but more reaches can be Brandeis, BC, Rochester (all really good for science). </p>
<p>RPI is also a good science/engineering school that would be considered a match school, high match, but match nonetheless. BU also has good science programs.</p>
<p>Michigan is more highly regarded (though they are overlapping schools). However, they are both similar with regard to selectivity and I think you would have similar chances of acceptance at both schools. </p>
<p>I would consider BU a match, though a competitive match. Try raising that ACT, if you can pull off a 30 I would call BU a solid match.</p>
<p>You could try to look into Lawrence in Appleton, WI. Its a LAC, but is very small (less than 3000 kids). They have a strong science program and are close enough to UW-Madison that it might not seem like you're in a too-small school.</p>
