Hi everybody!

So I've looked and searched on CC for the best books on CR and Writing and what I've found seems to be outdated, or the things they suggest, I can't find on CC.

Anyways, first of all, I'd like to say that I have Barrons CR/Writing and 2400 Prep book. However, I have gone through these books, and as I plan to really work my buttocks off over the summer, I would like to ask if you guys could recommend other books for me.

I'm already planning on getting the blue book, (That's the official SAT one right?) But I'm also looking for another 1-2 overall SAT Prep book.

Looking for 1-2 CR prep books, and also 1-2 writing books. I've seen some posts about someone's guide here on CC about improving writing, could someone please link that for me?

And lastly, although I didn't really specify for it, does anyone have any recommendations on a good SAT math prep?

Thank you!

Alright, links at the end for all the stuff i talk about.

For CR i never bought or read a whole book for that solely. Instead I found some of the most helpful tips in silver turtle’s guide and in the book “Hack the SAT” its pretty short but highlighted some of the key patterns of CR. The most important thing I learned about CR was that the answer will ALWAYS be supported in the passage, and almost always never make your own inferences.

For writing, by far the best book I have read is “Maximize Your SAT Writing Score” by blackstone review. Great lists of idioms, diction errors, and a summary at the end.

For Math, I’m going to assume your a higher scoring individual because of your motivation, and recommend either Gruber’s math workbook, or Doctor Chung’s. Both are great and both help a lot with the level 4 and 5 math problems but also all ranges of difficulty.

Thank you for the reply, and I will begin to find the math books. However I was still wondering, if anyone else had any CR and Writing workbooks out there? Also what are some good books with practice SAT tests, (Like the BB)

Thanks
