I everyone ! I am an international student at a CC.

I'm planning to tranfer from my CC to a 4-year university for Fall 2013. Engineering Major (mechanical engineering or Computer engineering for transfer)

I want to know what are my chances to get into schools that propose a good/decent Engineering program. I would prefer a university that also proposes a master's Degree ...

Where do you think I should apply ?

I from a massaschusetts CC.

I have a 2.97 GPA for now, expecting a 3.1 gpa at the end of this fall. Don't worry, the reason for my 2.97 gpa is Social science, World View, and Humanities requirements from my CC... had straight Cs in all fon them ... and As and a few Bs in Math and science/engineering courses...
I will be done with my AA courses if I take the summer 2013 semester, I only have 5 courses left (this fall NON included). I don't really need my AA, so don't tell me to wait for a 3rd year, coz am not waiting... its jsutgonna make things tougher ..

I have done Voluteering, ans still doing it.

I have no chance in BU, NU or whatsoever in boston... anyways, I have already applied to all the UCs ... my chances are pretty low, except for a few of them like Santa Cruz, but they don't propose a Mechanical engineering Major...

I have though of Illinois institute of technology in chicago, wentworth IT in boston, Umass lowell (pretty low chances too.)...
So do you know some good/decent schools I could apply to, and at least have a chance of getting accepted? I don't wanna lower my hopes, but I have to be realistic, a 2.97 is not a goo cummulative GPA. I also know many schools look at the grades of specific courses and not just the cumulative gpa...
Locations ?? I don't care, just make sure its in a big city. and btw am not a party student so don't make me go to a sport/party school ok? also, a private university would be satisfying ...
