Need advice

Have acceptance from:

Stanford EPGY

Iowa SSTP

Carnegie Mellon AP/EA

Columbia - HS Summer program

Am interested in a top-tier engineering college after high school. Which one should I go for?

Thx.

I learned your stats from another thread. If you just want to take a summer class, that’s another story. Otherwise, you should go to a one better EPGY. I am not familiar with the rest of 3 though.

correction: you should go to a one better than EPGY

SSTP. Research is important if you’re going into the sciences.

The other three programs are more general, more like just learning the basic knowledge but not much of the hands-on, in-depth stuff you can do at SSTP. Also, at SSTP you get a mentor who’s a university professor or a grad student, who will guide you through your own project. Meanwhile, at the other three programs, you might be in a class with 19 or more other kids, just another face in the crowd.

EPGY seems like a really high price program.
