hi everyone, im new to the forums and have a few questions.
(my advisor is taking forever and i need some direction sooner than later)

im a sophomore at the university of texas at el paso. when i first enrolled i was a biology major and chem minor on the pre-med track. I did ok and had around a 3.1 average. however, after a year of that my parents convinced me that it wasnt for me (stupid stupid stupid) and i switched to electrical engineering (my whole family is engineers). this semester i've really missed pre med and want to go back. the problem though is, ever since switching to electrical engineering, i havent been interested and have been slacking hardcore. Now because of this and playing competitive hockey (im usually out of town every weekend) along with my job, my grades have dropped to a 2.74 cum. im not sure if i can even make it back in pre-med now? Im prepared to set hockey and work aside and do what i need to do because i want to be a doctor. im just worried i cant recover?

if it was even possible, id restart my whole college career from scratch just to get the grades, i really wanna go to med school, and ill do whatever it takes.

any adivce?

i appreciate it, thank you
