heyy,
i was wondering which Business or Liberal Arts colleges out of the top 30 give need-based or otherwise a good amount of scholarship to international students, bcoz frm what i know, not many do...!?

Amherst definitely. In fact they're one of the only institutions in the US that are, as of now, totally need-blind to international students, meaning they don't consider if you can pay or not when you're applying. Middlebury has aid, but most of it is loans. Problem is, I dont think Amherst offer business.

Actually there are at least 8 colleges that are need-blind for international students: Amherst, Williams, Middlebury, Harvard, Princeton, Yale, Dartmouth, MIT.

Totally untrue.

For Middlebury's incoming Class of 2011, the average grant amount was more than $30,000.

Student loans that are part of the financial aid package are offered at graduated levels, depending on family income:

family income < $50,000: $1,000 per year

family income $50,000 to $80,000: $2,000 per year

family income > $80,000: $3,000 per year

I totally agree with acardia.

@ b@r!um: I did say it was ONE of the of the only institutions that do that, and considering ther are about 4000+ tertiary instituitons in the US, I don't see what the problem with that statement is. As for Middlebury, maybe I got my facts wrong, but arcadia, are you sure those statistics are ONLY for the international students in that class?

Sorry, I mistakenly read "the only one" as opposed to "one of the only." My apologies!

These limits are for all students:

Financial Aid

@ b@r!um: No problem man, its all good

hyy thnx a lot, bt both middlebury n amherst are liberal arts...nt business :(
hmmm
