<p>I am currently a sophomore in high school, so I still have plenty of time before applying. However, I want to go ahead and start looking at colleges.</p>
<p>I would like to major in History and minor in Creative Writing. I don't want to go to a party school, but I don't want all of the focus to be on academics. I would prefer to go to a college on the East Coast, West Coast, or the South. A university in the city would be perfect, but I don't want to go to NYC or L.A.</p>
<p>I can't think of anything else at the moment, but I am probably forgetting a lot of stuff. Sorry! </p>

<p>Start talking now to your parents about how much they will pay for college. That will give you a feel for how that will affect your college list.</p>
<p>Prepare for the PSAT. Your friends won’t, and your prep will give you a leg up. Focus on getting As and Bs in each course; ask the teachers what it takes to get these grades, and then go out and try to do it. </p>
